Littlefoot Bookkeeping Services was set up to help businesses across Coventry, Rugby, and Leamington Spa with all their accounting and bookkeeping needs. I can work from your office or from home, whichever suits you best.

Meet Angela

My name is Angela Boxwell, and I’ve worked in accounts since 1986.

I started out working for the University of Reading and then a software house, reporting directly to the financial controller. That grounding in in-house finance taught me how accounts departments actually work day-to-day, not just the theory.

For the last 26 years, I’ve run and managed my own businesses, including a bookkeeping practice in the Reading area before relocating to the Coventry. Alongside that practical experience, I passed A-level Accounting and qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians in 1993. I’m now an AAT Licensed Bookkeeper (licence number 1001319), which means my work is supervised in accordance with AAT’s regulatory standards, including anti-money laundering compliance.

I’ve also written Business Accounting Basics, a website offering free accounting advice and Excel templates for small business owners who want to get to grips with their own numbers.

More than bookkeeping

Running my own business for over a decade means I’ve picked up more than accounts along the way. If you’re looking at the wider side of running a business, from website design and SEO to insurance or simply finding ways to save money, I’m happy to point you in the right direction as part of our conversations.

Outside the office

When I’m not with clients, I’m usually pottering in the garden, tackling a DIY project, or making cards. I have two grown-up children; one has just graduated in film production, and the other is studying creative writing, so between us there’s rarely a quiet conversation at home.
